Aspects of Love 1 opens the series with a sense of turbulence and longing. Deep navy forms rise and fold against a field of crimson and white, suggesting the weight of emotion held beneath the surface — love as something vast, consuming, and not entirely within our control. The white breaks through like breath, like relief, while scattered gold marks punctuate the lower register with flashes of warmth and unexpected tenderness. This is love in its most complex register: passionate, unresolved, and alive.
