A forthcoming feature exploring Wilhelmina Odoley Quaynor’s artistic journey, international exhibitions, heritage practice and the Ghana Heritage Scroll Collection.

2027 — National Museum of Ghana / Ghana at 70 Proposal Discussions

MINA is currently in discussion with the National Museum of Ghana and the Ghana Museums & Monuments Board regarding a proposed Ghana Heritage exhibition connected to Ghana's 70th Independence celebrations in 2027.

The proposed Ghana Heritage Scroll Collection explores monuments, markets, architecture, national identity, memory, cultural continuity, and Ghanaian heritage.

Current status:

  • Proposal discussions in progress
  • Director meeting completed
  • Face-to-face meeting planned for Ghana in August/September 2026

The final exhibition format, dates, number of works, and curatorial structure are still subject to further discussion and confirmation.

2026 — Proposed Ghana Heritage Scroll Collection

MINA is developing new and existing works for the Ghana Heritage Scroll Collection.

Current and proposed themes include:

  • Ghanaian monuments
  • National identity
  • Markets and women traders
  • Historic architecture
  • Cultural memory
  • Coastal heritage
  • Independence and freedom
  • Community, resilience, and place

Proposed Accra Heritage Scroll Series — 60 × 80 cm each:

  • Echoes of Freedom — Black Star Square
  • Walls of Memory — Osu Castle
  • Beacon of the Coast — Jamestown Lighthouse

This proposed trio focuses on Accra as a site of independence, historical memory, coastal identity, and national heritage.

2026 — The Holy Art Gallery, Times Square Digital Exhibition

MINA has been selected for a forthcoming digital exhibition with The Holy Art Gallery in Times Square, New York.

Dates: To be confirmed
Status: Selected — dates pending

Further details will be added once the exhibition schedule is confirmed.

Ongoing — Inspiration With Mina on Skool

MINA continues to develop Inspiration With Mina, a creative community on Skool sharing behind-the-scenes painting, reflective creativity, heritage storytelling, and the personal journeys behind original artworks.

Current classroom entries include:

  • Hawa Mahal – Palace of the Winds
  • Temple of Light – Lotus Temple
  • Sunset Walk – Red Fort
