One of Scotland's most iconic landmarks, Eilean Donan Castle rises from a small island at the confluence of three sea lochs, its ancient stone walls mirrored in the still, blue waters below. In this work, the castle is rendered by MINA with quiet drama — warm golden tones of the stonework contrasting against a sweeping, cloud-filled sky, while two birds drift overhead in the distance.

The reflection in the water becomes as much a subject as the castle itself, doubling the sense of stillness and timelessness that defines this remarkable place.
